Will the bullshit ever end?

Well I have not updated recently as I have not been drinking much lately. This has caused me to feel depressed and non-energetic! Well things changed when I found out this most disgraceful piece of news.

Apparently 21 viewers complained to the BBC about Question Time of all programs. This is a "stand up" program, which features a fantastic host, David Dimbleby and a strong reputation for integrity.

Apparently some members of the audience expressed strong anti-US views.

The discussion appeared to distress panellist Philip Lader, the former US ambassador to the UK. Well lets all bow down to the ambassador because he is so great and we should watch what he thinks. Does the fool not realise that there is something called freedom of speech, something the US keeps harping on about?

"The most important thing now is to learn any lessons we can about how to handle programmes of that kind in times of exceptional sensitivity, and the discussion about that is well under way." Whittled on the BBC director general Greg Dyke. He continued with a gun to his, saying "It's also important to keep a bit of perspective. Question Time was one misjudgement amid a massive amount of coverage of the events of September 11 and since."

Well we can all rest assured those 20 people and 1 American Ambassador are keeping our television free from things that will offend everybody. Well I don’t think that censorship is bad, however people should be allowed to share there Anti American views, even if we don’t really agree with them (as a whole)? Lets face it, that’s the point of Question Time, people get to share there views and a panel of (so called) experts respond. Lets hope that these censorship comities soon become a target for General Trash with Operation Junkies.

Respectfully, Atom
