The Wheatus Album???
Well were do you start, most people would start with the fact that they are Canadian. This is because we know that nothing ever bad has come out of Canada!!! Right? Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Perhaps though we should get down to the quality of the album, I expect that most people that were not put of by the constantly replayed "Teenage Dirtbag" would of been intrigued like me, enough, to get the album. Lets face it, it was worth it right? It may only have 10 tracks but most of them, especially "Sunshine" amused and astounded. It simply wreaked of quality.
Also, their abilities as musicians can only be described as B+. Well that's relatively anyway. Personally I think I could go one on one to see who has the best licks, I think it would be an even run race.
A point must be made of the humour involved, although it's simply a thing of the times, I do appreciate the humour in this one. Only a total lawyer would disagree.
At this point of this drunken review I would like to add that I look nothing like the lead singer of Wheatus, whatever his name may be!
Well now I have said how great it is, I'm gonna say how shite I think it is. Just for those of you who cant stand people from Canada, namely Americans.
The album has only 10 tracks, what a rip-off. The album is not an album but is full of poppy like-tracks, which seem to repeat constantly. If it was not for my Mp3 player displaying the names of the tracks, well lets just say 10 become 1! Further more, after hearing "Teenage Dirtbag" a million times a day, I was not going to buy the album, I downloaded it. However due to the lack of innovation, poor lyrics and unpredictably bad guitar playing I recommend you don't waste your time.
